The key focus of this site is to help promote urban agriculture using Sub-Irrigated Planters (SIPs). Currently, the main thrust in on growing vegetables and food production, but I plan to expand to flowering plants, decorative plants and wall gardens.

Time tested and time proven solution

Recently, my garden (in reality a 15’ x 40’ deck), was open to a garden tour, and visitors were amazed at what can be grown in a container using SIP technology. Unlike regular planters that are watered from the top, or drip-fed, the sub-irrigated planters using the latest techniques to produce healthier plants and more vegetables while using less water and time.

Check the journal section to see my progress with my garden and the latest developments in the world of SIP gardening.
